The Train (in) course project tackles rural depopulation through artistic co-creation and Forum Theatre.
This Erasmus+ training will bring together 18 youth workers (from Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Poland, Estonia and Cyprus) in Cirat, Spain, to exchange stories and explore common challenges in rural and urban areas, such as isolation and limited opportunities.
Participants will engage with the local community through ethnographic research and create a Forum Theatre piece, performed in different nearby towns, connected by a local tourist train to encourage community participation. Using body expression, Biodanza, Theatre of the Oppressed, improvisation, and storytelling, the project equips youth workers with creative tools they can apply in their own communities.
